    And I can’t leave out flagship canon Kirin, Autumn! I’ve obviously drawn her more than any other but she’s the only one I really like so much, seeing as how the others don’t talk for the duration of the episode, and I haven’t found one whose color scheme I just adore. xD

    So a little bit on vampire!Kirin; those who know me (and manage to keep track of individuals in my OC horde!) know I have a couple of my own Kirin of Neighpon who are vampiric. Instead of feeding on blood they drain life force, or chi, by locking horn-antlers with or touching the forehead of the victim.
    The same holds true for the canon Kirin! Slightly different from my own lore, is that vampiric canon Kirin get markers of their Nirik form: Elongated fangs, their horn-antler in a stage between the normal and Nirik form, and the pointed dewclaws. Their irises also turn silver, with an outer ring of their former eye color, and their pupils become their former iris color or a darker shade thereof.
